Technical teams have identified potential issue that points to a monitoring system failing to report of a backup not being ready to take over in the event of the primary failing. We are working to improve the error handling.

Monitoring

At 08:37am the scan service became unresponsive. Technical teams attempted to eliminate the cause of the issue, but the issue could nto be identified quickly. Instead the team brought up new scan resources online at 09:20am. Technical teams will investigate the cause by reviewing the logs. Scan resources are back up.
